How Silence Helps In Life

annazing.blogspot.com
The complete absence of sound or the deafening mute atmosphere, is one of the best things for your mind. It’s when you imagine rainbows and chocolate chip cookies flying around. It’s when you see a river of milk with floating Oreos. It is when the sky is half bright and blue as the sea, and half yellow like dying flame at the end of a candle wick. That is what complete silence will give your mind; peace like a child’s innocence, and hidden answers for the restless.

Silence has been so disregarded by people everywhere. With today’s new “innovative technology,” the closest to silence is the gap between songs on a playlist. Most people hate silence if not for work or sleep; it’s not something one would volunteer to be in.

Except, people don’t realize its importance; people ignore and waste their opportunity to be in silence until… it’s gone.

What can it give you?
1. Silence helps your mind rest from the entire day of functioning involuntarily from the atmosphere of noise, and the drastic misinformation from people everywhere.
2. Silence makes you question yourself and others, and it makes you realize why.
3. Silence gives you your hidden answers, from questions you have repeated to yourself countless times parallel to the racket of the world.

The next time you come across silence, grab it. It might just help you under that shell.
