Paris Terror Attacks

I woke up this morning with pictures spread around Instagram with the caption #prayforparis. Article after article, I read the news from one link to the other. This is such a huge attack and I am heartbroken for those that were lost and the loved ones they left behind. I can only imagine how many people are at a loss with such an event.

This is not something that is worth anything. No innocent lives taken will ever be worth any good reason. This is not a poetic horror scene where the city of love turns into a city of death on Friday the 13th. This is a horrible event that should not be taken lightly.

On the news that I've read, it was said that aside from bombings/ suicide bombers there was also a hostage situation in a concert. There were shootings around Paris which caused a total of around 150 deaths in one day. I can't help but think that such a thing was so carefully planned that they were able to accomplish this much destruction. See the news below to have an idea of what had happened. #PrayForParis that they may find peace together or within themselves, and that they will be protected and given more security at this time.

Video from outside the Bataclan concert hall shows people exiting the building on ladders. France 24 is reporting that the gunmen threw grenades into the faces of hostages.
